Youth groups are invited to their own Provincial Assembly 2019 experience – the Provincial Youth Gathering, June 17-22 in Dallas, TX – and registration is open now!

“When I went to Provincial Assembly two years ago for the first time, it blew me away to see the global aspect of Anglicanism,” says ADOTS Youth Coordinator Jessica Greiner. “This is a perfect opportunity for Anglican youth and their leaders, volunteers, and parents to see the community of young people gathered.”

Anglican teens will participate in the adult and youth conferences Monday evening through Wednesday afternoon. But as during the last Assembly in Chicago, this year’s Provincial Youth Gathering will also include the opportunity to serve the local community through a post-conference mission trip in Dallas: Organizers are planning ministry to the homeless, VBS programs, light construction projects, and farm work.

“It’s a time for fellowship, learning, and celebrating our awesome God together,” says Greiner. “Students will see and feel the impact of knowing other Anglican students from across the province.”

Provincial Youth Gathering organizers emphasize that the conference will be a celebratory time for youth to encounter God, serve the world around them, and learn from our bishops – including Archbishop Foley.

All registration for the Provincial Youth Gathering is taking place through YoungAnglicans.com, and all required forms for youth and leaders are available there as well. They’re also offering a 2019 Book of Common Prayer signed by Archbishop Foley for purchase on the site.

Early-bird pricing for the youth gathering and mission trip is $450 before April 1. This includes lodging at the Crown Plaza Galleria for Monday through Saturday, and most meals Tuesday through Saturday. For those opting out of the mission trip and attending the conference only, pricing is $250 before April 1.
