CONNECT with other ministry leaders around the country:

Youth Ministry –  The Student Leadership Network helps dioceses, churches, parents, and student ministry leaders form every generation in Christ.  Sign up to attend the online Student Leadership Network Meetings on the 2nd Monday of every month. Click here to register for the meetings – you only need to register once and Aaron Buttery, the director, will send you a meeting reminder each month via email.  This is a great way to connect with other leaders who are doing youth ministry.

RESOURCES

Barna – We highly recommend checking out Barna’s resources for Children’s Ministries and becoming a Barna Access Plus member, if your budget allows.

Every Parent’s Guide to Navigating Our Digital World –  Fuller Youth Institute has a wonderful resource if you are interested in engaging with your children about technology.  They also have this resource in a digital download parent workshop.

Catechism in Family Prayer – This is a fabulous new ACNA resource that integrates the whole of the Catechism with the Family Devotion format from the Book of Common Prayer. It places our common prayer and our common teaching in the most influential space for a young person: the home.

This devotional was designed by the Student Leadership Network to be used in the home by families as they prepare for confirmation and continue their formational life, but can be used by any family at any time.  Catechesis in Family Prayer will be complete by May 2022, but you can download and use the first five months.

SAFETY

We recommend Ministry Safe for sexual abuse prevention training, but there are other great resources out there as well.  If you need assistance with training or policies, please contact Canon Jessica Greiner right away.
